Pack Less. Travel More.
Every trip makes me pack less than the trip before. Every. Single. Time. Now we travel light with just a carry-on and a “personal item”. For the kids, that means a backpack. Me? I carry one of those big purses (with my streamlined day trip purse tucked inside) and for the hubs, it’s a sleek satchel. Pack less. Travel more. It’s a tried and true travel motto around our house!
Travel Light 101
We really can fit it all in. Generally, it’s about:
- 4 days of clothes (a bit more for the kids).
- Two pair of shoes.
- Only essential toiletries that you may not find at your destination.
- Vitamins & medicines.
- Water & Snacks for the trip.
- Passport/Visa & flight information.
- All reservation details.
Just add in a few electronic gadgets to keep us occupied and capturing memories all along the way. We are ready for take off. That’s what Keep Calm with Just a Carry-On is all about.
